SOMA Neuromuscular Integration® is best experienced as a series of sessions.
Designed as a series of 11-sessions, each addressing a specific part of the body, yet also working to balance the whole. Sessions are generally one week apart and approximately 1.5 hours in length. In addition to the actual bodywork, movement re-education, reading materials, journaling and other activities encouraged for best results. Since each session is buildings on the previous, completing the 11-session series is important for receiving the most benefit. Often clients will notice changes from one appointment to the next, with their bodies often eager to receive the next session. |
Soma Neuromuscular IntegrationSoma Neuromuscular Integration is a series of 11-sessions, each building on the next. Sessions are 1.5 hour long and include bodywork done on the massage table partially clothed. You will be getting up throughout the session to feel and bring to awareness the changes happening in your body. Movement, postural assessments, photos and drawing (yes I said drawing!) are implemented to support the work.

Active Fascial ReleaseActive Fascial Release is performed on a thick yoga mat on the floor. You will wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Your practitioner uses her clean socked feet to step on you and coach you through a series of movements. This is a compress and shear style of fascial release. Assessments, movement to integrate the changes and photos to track and bring greater awareness to the client are used to create a treatment plan suited to your goals. This work is incredibly powerful and can create rapid change. Sessions are 1.5 hours long.
